How do I get to the ranch?
You have three main options here; all will be coordinated prior to your trip.
- Drive to border in Eagle Pass and follow your main contact to the ranch from there. They would also escort you back to the border upon your departure.
- Fly into San Antonio and rent a car, then would follow the same guidelines as above.
- Fly into San Antonio and ride with a ranch representative to and from the ranch, for a small transportation fee.
Can I bring my own firearms?
While the ranch has firearms on site for our guests to use, you are welcome to bring your own. Our ranch manager, or representative, will need at least 4 weeks’ notice to coordinate the crossing and processing of the necessary paperwork.
Can I bring my trophy back across the border?
Yes. We recommend considering our taxidermist in Mexico for price and quality, but you can bring both meat and horns back with you when you leave. We will tan the hides and ship them to your preferred location. Both have 6- 8 week lead times.
I see the price sheet, but how much would a 4-day trip cost if I take a 175” trophy without transport or a tanning fee?
The short answer is $10,750.00.
The cost breakout is:
= 4 Days @ $350/day + 175” deer ($2500 for up to 149” + $250/inch (175-149=26”) + Hunting License + Gun/ Ammo fee ($50/day)
= $1400 + ($2500 + $6500) + $150 + $200
= $10,750
Do I need to bring my own food or drinks?
As part of your stay, all of your food and beverages are included and the menu will be discussed prior to your arrival. We do recommend BYOB for any specific drink you would like (this is just in case we cannot find it in Mexico), but you are more than welcome to the camp stash.
Can I bring a non- hunting guest?
Of course! We would just charge them the day rate for lodging to cover their food, drinks, and staff.
